In 2022, Gayane graduated with a Master’s degree in European Union Studies and Human Rights at the UCAM, Catholic University of Murcia. While pursuing and enriching her educational pathway in Spain, Gayane had the opportunity to be a part of Social Economy Europe as an Intern, where she increased her knowledge and skills in the Social Economy sector by assisting and supporting the implementation of impactful projects. Being impressed and motivated by the sector, she wrote her Master’s thesis on Social and Solidarity Economy as a response model which can boost the sustainable development of countries, especially developing countries by enhancing the understanding of inclusiveness, solidarity, and equal opportunities to build an economy that serves for the people and the planet.

Gayane has 13+ years of working experience in development programs working as a project coordinator at the “World Vision International” International Beneficent Organization in Armenia. Her main duties were to manage the implementation of child protection and youth empowerment projects and strived to bring justice, peace, reconciliation, and healing through the service to the poorest of the poor to overcome the circle of poverty. She is passionate about human rights, women empowerment, and gender equality issues. Gayane is co-founder of Community Child Center and “Lyupin” Youth NGO.
