The new edition of the “Frankfurter Buchmesse” is coming and it will host a special session called “The Arts +” dedicated to Innovation within the publishing and cultural sectors.

One of the protagonists of this 2018 edition will be the Italian cultural cooperative system, represented by CulTurMedia Legacoop, the national association that collects more than 1300 cooperative companies working in the field of Culture, Tourism and Media in Italy. President of CulTurMedia Roberto Calari will be at the fair together with the Presidents of two leading cultural companies in Italy, CoopCulture and Doc Servizi .

They will promote an innovative, cooperative business model, able to give evidence to the richness and the beauties of territories and to all those creative and cultural cooperative companies definitely put together in a wider cultural business chain. Starting from the very first experiences held in Italy, they would like to meet European cultural and creative cooperative industries in order to understand if a “European way” for global, social and economic growth throughout Europe can be built together, starting from Culture.

Coopculture and Doc servizi are included in a survey conducted by Diesis on social economy enterprises (SEEs) involved in the creative cultural industries (CCIs) across Europe. The experiences of SEEs operating in CCIs collected represent tools for inclusion and social participation, vehicles of innovation and strategic factor s in the development of territories.
